Great Places to Visit
From nearby Lake Tahoe to historic Virginia City or Genoa or the Sierra Nevada Mountains, our area is surrounded by beauty - we here in the Reno-Tahoe area have great places to go for club events or just weekend driving.
Being surrounded by beautiful & interesting locations - Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, Genoa, Virginia City, Genoa, Carson City, Apple Valley, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, to name a few - gives us lots of choices for our meetings and caravan outings.
We welcome YOUR submissions of pictures of the great places you have in your area for driving your British car.
This is Genoa (Guh NOH uh), Nevada - the first settlement in the state, founded by David Walley who was looking for silver, but found water instead... lots of it and HOT, to at 160 degrees! It's quaint and pretty, sitting at the foot of the mountains.

Lake Tahoe is only an hour away - and what a drive in a British car! One route takes us over the Mount Rose Pass at 8,900 feet and the other, up Kingsbury Grade, is almost as spectacular. The lake, at 6,000 feet, is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Meeting at 4:45am for the "glow show" of the Reno Balloon Races is a fun event... with lots of coffee and great food from hosts Dennis & Erin Conly.
